Random WPA2 / WPA3 pre-shared keys — 8–63 characters, generated locally
WPA2-Personal and WPA3-Personal accept a pre-shared key from 8 to 63 bytes (characters). This tool defaults to 24 characters with mixed types—adjust the slider if your router or mesh app shows different guidance.
Use WPA3 if your hardware supports it; otherwise WPA2-AES. After you set a new key, reconnect every device. For account logins (not Wi‑Fi), use our main password generator or passphrase generator.
Using a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols dramatically increases password strength. Each character type expands the possible combinations hackers must try.
Human-created passwords follow predictable patterns. Our strong password generator uses cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generation (CSPRNG) to create truly unpredictable passwords that cannot be guessed.
Never reuse passwords across different accounts. If one is compromised, others remain safe.
Store your strong passwords securely. You only need to remember one master password.
Add two-factor authentication wherever possible for an extra layer of security.
Immediately change passwords for any accounts involved in data breaches.
